Endoscan brings together specialist clinical expertise, AI engineering, and operational leadership. We\u2019re united by a shared conviction that endometriosis diagnosis must be faster, less invasive, and more accessible.
Our team combines decades of clinical experience in gynaecology with deep technical capability in machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and health-tech operations.

Mr Tom Holland
Chief Executive Officer
Consultant gynaecologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in minimal access surgery — both laparoscopic and robotic — including complex endometriosis treatment. Leads the diagnostic ultrasound service for complex endometriosis. Academic foundation from Cambridge University and King's College London underpins a research-driven approach to diagnostic innovation and surgical excellence. Performs every Endoscan specialist scan and reviews all AI-assisted findings personally.
Laura McCabe
Chief Operating Officer
Registered midwife and clinical research leader with over 15 years at the intersection of clinical care, research delivery, and NHS leadership. Holds an MSc in Clinical Trials and brings direct experience in translating clinical research into real-world health innovation. Passionate about improving outcomes for women through solutions grounded in frontline clinical insight. Drives Endoscan's operational strategy, clinical governance, and scale-up planning.
Susan Hewitt
Chief Technology Officer
Systems architect with over 25 years' experience building AI, computer vision, and cloud platforms from the ground up. Built Ryff's award-winning computer vision platform (Fast Company "Next Big Things in Tech") and Consolidocs' AI-native contract engine. Deep technical background spanning GPU design, embedded software, and scalable infrastructure at ARM, AMD, and Texas Instruments. Brings direct experience in diagnostic image analysis to Endoscan's imaging pipeline, cloud architecture, and data strategy.
Dr Michael Roberts
Chief Science Officer
Research Professor at the University of Cambridge, holding joint appointments at DAMTP and the Department of Medicine. Specialist in machine learning for diagnostic image analysis, with extensive work on medical imaging for lung disease, cardiac OCT, and blood cell morphology. Leads the BloodCounts! consortium and led algorithm development for the global COVID-19 AIX-COVNET collaboration. Drives Endoscan's AI model development, validation, and scientific rigour.
